My speech draft (Part I)

Owing to taking part in speech contest, I write my speech draft.

Not surprisingly, we may have easy access to the report regarding the aggravation of global warming from all sorts of media – such as newspapers, TV or magazines – reflecting the fact that the global environment today has reached the extent that no one can disregard its future crisis. But what on earth yields this phenomenon? Dose it have a lot to do with human beings’ activities or behaviors? The answer is definitely yes. Industrialization ushered in the rampant consumption of fossil fuel – a source that ultimately generated global warming. Therefore, we must do whatever it takes to prevent this situation from deteriorating, and here is what we can do to resolve the problem faced.

First and foremost, as an individual, when feeling hot, we can turn on the fan to replace the air conditioner, which helps us save much more energy and reduce our electricity bill. In addition, to take advantage of public transportation, such as trains or buses, will not only reduce the emission of carbon dioxide, but also help us avoid the traffic jams. Moreover, classification of garbage is another step that can in effect facilitate recycling those products and turning them into the reusable resources again.

I hope that I can finish my speech draft.= =
