Writing III

Ha. Ha..... I make it. I'm so happy that I overcome this challenge. But if possible, I would practice writing TOFEL topic in winter vacation. So it wouldn't occupy with my precious time to study.

What’s more, when people watch comedies, not only can they enjoy the plots of movies but also appreciate different cultures along with customs. Besides, if they are equipped with different background of different countries, it will help them adapt to different living environment when they travel or study there. Take my cousin for example. She and I went to see the movie, “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”. In this movie, Greek are so hospitable that they will prepare a great number of dishes to their customers. When they have family union, everyone will take part in any activities related to their family. Moreover, she traveled to Greece last year. She lived in B&B and the host were very nice and friendly to them. And she thought that it was the coincidence that she proved the statement of movies. From her perspective, with this concept of that cultures, she acquainted Greek’s living styles.
In short, watching comedies I do think are a good approach for people to relax and add much fun in daily life. Consequently, they
will inspire people’s creativity as well as imagination. Besides, like walking dictionary of different countries, they will also supply various information of different countries. Aren’t comedies good means for human being?

Writing II

During this vacation, I keep on writing . It's very difficult for me to come up with many ideas. But at least, I finish the third and fourth paragraph. I hope I can finish the fifth paragraph tomorrow.

It seems that as long as people have work or jobs, they dedicated much of their time and effort on their work. They sometimes view their duty as top priority. But, they forget to take a rest to appreciate beautiful things around them while completing their work. After long time, they will find that they’re tired and bored with this living style. At this time, they can turn to comedy for the purpose of making their plain lives much more interesting and funny. Besides, by watching movies, they can ease their pressure around them. For instance. One of my best friends have penchant for watching a variety of movies. The reasons are that she can keep her worry and anxiety away temporarily. And she can get energy or learn how to be a person with a sense of humor so as to make herself far popular.
According to 施振榮, the president of Acer, he told his children that not to be the follower. The value of life is to enjoy life. If you can follow what you are strongly interested and do meaningful thing to this society as a return. Then, this world is so wonderful! That is, he always encouraged his children to try different things so as to cultivate their different own interests. During the process of exploring their curiosity, it will train and help children build up the foundation of creativity. Therefore, via watching various comedy it will give people many ideas and inspire their creativity as well as imagination. ( he advocate the importance of “Smile Curve”. That is, in 21centery if you’re eager to become a wanted and outstanding person in this society, you need to be equipped with much more creativity.)

Recently, I browse through a Internet about TOFEL writing. I'm very insterested in those topics so I choose one to practice my writing.

Topic: Some movies are serious, designed to make the audience to think. Other movies are designed primarily to amuse and entertain. Which type of movie do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
In my opinion, I prefer to watch movies designed to amuse and entertain rather than other serious movies. Living in our society where there is a fervent competition we are likely – whether you like it or not- to encounter what we call stress. It is predictable that stress will cause impacts on our lives, such as stomach ache, insomnia, and the like. Under this circumstance, we can resort to comedies from which we can release our pressure regardless of daily life, human relationship and work. In addition, as we’re engaged in working, we sometimes lead hectic lives. And we may confine our thinking styles in the environment with which we’re mainly familiar. But in fast-changing as well as competitive society, thinking ability plays one of indispensable roles for everyone in that it will direct yourself to right way in your life. As a result, via watching comedy we can expose ourselves to diversified and versatile situations, not to mention interesting. Driven and inspired by this learning surroundings, our creativity and imagination will be on the increase little by little. Last but not least, when we watch comedies, we can benefit a lot from different cultures and customs. That is, with the assistance of movies, we can easily understand that there are jokes and the prediction is sth. Now I’m going to state my reasons regarding comedy based on the following reasons.

Life

I can’t agree more with teacher's saying that is “keep faith on yourself.” I think I am easily influenced by my friends, even though I have my own opinions contrary to theirs. For example. Last yaer, there was a speech contest at the school. When I heard from this new, I wanted to take this challenge. But my friends told me that those who attended the speech contest were seniors or much older than me. Thus, I hesitated to take action; in the end, I failed to take part in it. But I still went to the auditorium to appreciate many competitors’ performance. In terms of content, they used many excellent words to make their essay smooth and vivid to appeal the judges. Secondly, with their good accuracy and intonation, the audiences and judges made good impressions on them. Least but not last, some of them used some gestures to make their performance vivid. Thus, I cannot but help conceding their performance are terrific. Compared with them, I seems to have much room to be improved. But in this semester, I ask myself to participate in English Speech Contest no matter how difficult the preparation is. Although I didn't win any prize, I learned many valuable experience, such as how to make my speaking much more accurate. In my opinion, As to speaking, I have no choice but to accept my own accent; But there is a pleny of room for me to imporve accuracy. Under such circumstances, I conceive a good idea that practice English with my good friends and ask them to correct me if I mispronounce.

Life III

Whenever I need to record what happened to me today, I found that my life was a little bit plain. However, I wanted to make my life different. Take today for example. For me, school life occasionally was intense and I had much pressure coming from teachers, resulting in the fact that I didn’t have spare time relaxing myself. Hearing from an animation movie called “Happy Feet”, I immediately made up my mind to watch it with my high school friends, primary because I needed to be simulated by different things around me and enjoyed different life. In addition, I invited my friends to talk about university’s life when it’s sometimes full of joy. We talked about future, assignment and so on. I reminisced what life I used to live. But it was totally different now. Thus, I come to realize that I should compel myself to look forward to the future rather
than the past. After all, I can’t change the history but I can create my own future.

About me (part III)

I always have a good mood recently, since I finally found my uniqueness. The reasons are that I have never found my specialty, lacking in self- confidence. But today I was so moved that I found “it”, namely my warm-hearted mind. Whenever my close friends are sad or unhappy, I will try to make them happy or just listen to their complaints. So, they have thought highly of me. In addition, when I turn to my friends regarding pronunciation-related issues, they are more than willing to teach me rather than just looked down on me. I am so proud that I have this character.

the course of school (---人際關係)

One of my course is called “Human Relationship.” The teacher don’t use the textbook, simply because using textbooks is boring for students to learn the social skills. Besides, if she just teachers the theory, probably students don’t know how to put the theory into practice. Thus, after teaching us theory, she will lets us watch the movies. For one thing, we can reduce the pressure from study. For another thing, we can cultivate our observation and ask ourselves to think issues from different angels. It’s no doubt that for me having different ideas is challenging in that I’m not aware of issues around me. Sometimes I just take them for granted. However, owing to many assignments, I ask myself to think deeply and organize my ideas. Otherwise, when getting along with friends for discussing the report, I may always remain silent. Therefore, whenever I take this course, I always feel delighted simply because I can not only watch many meaningful moves but also improve my thinking.

In this competitive, she encourages us that we should be on the top when it comes to diploma, certificate and experience. Otherwise, every year a great number of college students graduates from university. How can we surpass them and find the decent job? Besides, if at this moment we can’t find the our goals, we can turn to those who are experienced in their territory and always keep in touch with them. Last but not least, enjoy what you do at this moment. In other words, if you love your job or any tasks, you may find it the biggest fun in your life and you may have a brand new in your life. After listing to her speeches, I’m astonished by how she delivers her speech. First, she doesn’t talk about many theoretical terms. Instead, she will use many good examples to support her statements, even her own experience. Secondly, what she says is well-organized and based on statistics. I can get the main idea very quickly and make a good impression on her. By the way, I make a guess that she is in the middle of forty. Now she is the president in the big, famous company. As to me, I think she is very successful. Then, I ponder how she achieve this level from which she is one of the impeccable person in her company. Like old saying,” As you sow, so shall you reap. “

On Wednesday morning, some meaningful speeches are held in the auditorium. All speakers come from famous company and they play one of the significant roles in their enterprise. For me, I’m eager to be one of the audience simply because I can get easily access to the latest information regarding job market, current pace in this modern society, and so on. And Today the speaker is the president of career company. The following is the major part of her speeches. First, nowadays English becomes one of the important skills. The reasons is that with this ability you won’t confine yourself to the same environment for the purpose of having more chances to challenge yourself. Besides, as to the company, you can use your ability- English – to make much more orders from foreign company. At the same time, I ponder if one day I need to have a job, have I already reshape my skills to the fullest and become one of my strong weapons? From the bottom of my hearts, the answer is definitely no. Even though I know my current situation—not concentrating on my studying, I still have any energy to improve and make a big breakthrough. Besides, sometimes I think that why should I study so hard? Once the result is released, what I invested is not equally what I harvested.

Do I really like go shopping?

It is said that women like to go shopping. Of course, I used to be one of them. Regardless of clothing, shoes, accessory, I also wanted to buy the famous ones. But in reality I can’t afford. Then, I would have a part-time job to earn much money so as to satisfy my endless desire. The situation had taken place for 2 or 4 months. But I found it boring to go shopping. I couldn’t gain any happiness out of shopping. Thus, I reflected myself. Did I buy all stuff I desperately need ? Did I enjoy this kind of living? In the end, I found myself a very greedy person. So I wanted to get rid of bad habit of being greedy. I try to make everything possible to enjoy my current life. Even if the first step was a little bit hard, I still try to stick to the end.

My view on dog

When I was a child, I was chased and bitten by the dog. From then on, I have disliked and had bias of dogs. However, I don’t notice that dogs sacrifice themselves to human being until I read one of the chapters in the folktale. Thus, now I change my opinions of dogs. For example, if dogs bark at people, I will think they are responsible for their jobs so as not to make thief break in. Otherwise, people’s lives will be threatened by bad guys. Thus, I respect dogs and take them as one of people’s daily life little by little.

My family-My mother (part II)

She is a nurse who takes care of disabled students and needs to stay at school for fear of student’s sickness at night. Even, some of student’s pus may spatter on her body when she still tried her best to help them clean the wound.
Probably some students may feel very painful when receiving the treatment. She also comforted them and gave them encouragement. I’m proud of my mother’s attitude of dealing with issues and her kindness to her students. I like to help those who are in need. But provided the process is very tough, I must be influenced and want to quit. Thus, I think I forget to put myself into their condition. It’s not a good sign. Thus, whenever I see my mother work so hard that she wants to supply my brothers and I with the best living standard and education tuition. I always make up my mind to study hard. But in fact do I accomplish it as a return to my mother?

About Myself

I am simple-minded and warm-hearted toward people. However, sometimes I may be betrayed by some of my friends. At that moment, I felt very angry and anguished. Why did such a terrible misery happen to me? I kept on complaining everything bad. However, one day, when I read some articles related to human relationship, it taught me many good, positive concepts, such as how to deal with those who are self-centered and selfish. By the way, the book is called “Tuesday with Morrie”. From the bottom of my heart, I was so touched that the writer used himself as the textbook to teach everyone around him. Even thought he passed away, his spirit still leaved in everyone’s mind forever. Gradually, I didn’t hate them anymore. Instead, I was so grateful that I learned some lesson from their behaviors and knew how to protect myself from being hurt. But I would still do my best if they turned to me.
